This is the result of much work on a Metroidvania course to create content beyond that taught by the teacher. This is not a game. It's just a big test room, where you can control a character and test various mechanics / upgrades (some not yet completed). Feel free to test and give your feedback.

--- UPGRADE LIST ---

  • Plasma Shot: Standard shot
  • Fire Shot: Deals more damage
  • Ice Shot: Create a barrier of ice on colide with the ground, or plaftorms on colide with a wall (not finished)
  • Laser Shot: Reflects on the walls
  • Plasma Whip: Standard whip. Deal more damage than the standard shot, but requires closer distance
  • Electric Whip: Deal less damage, but paralyses enemies
  • Grappling Whip: Grapples on ceiling, and can move the player vertically
  • High Jump Boots: Confers the player a much higher jump
  • Dash Boots: Player moves fast forward (passing through shots?)
  • Hover Boots: After jump, the player can hover in the air for a brief time and move horizontally in the air. Double jump to activate
  • Heat Armor: Protects from the heat zones (marked as a red mask on the level)
  • Spike Armor: Lets the player walk on ground spikes (not finished)
  • Shield Armor: After a few seconds without taking damage, creates a shield arround the player, protecting from the next damage source (not finished)
  • Wolf Transformation: The player morphs into a wolf. It don't have any attacks, but can pass through tight passages and climb walls. Can only transform when standing on the ground
  • Hawk Transformation: The player morphs into a hawk. It don't have any attacks, but the player can move freely on the air for a few seconds (actually there's no time limit on this prototype). Can only transform while jumping forward (when the player morphs into a sphere)
  • Shark Transformation: It's supposed that the player would be able to dive into the water zones with this upgrade, but I haven't added yet the animations nor the proper programmation
